Belly Pics!

As requested (and promised) many times...better late than never, right?

Here is a collage of pics throughout the pregnancy ~ gestational ages are noted below.

I will have lots more to share after the baby comes, as we have a professional photographer working with us on maternity portraits, labor and birth pictures and newborn pictures...and she is waiting to show us everything when it's put together at the end. She did send me a few sneak previews of my maternity portraits, though, and I might share a couple of those soon. :-)

Getting close... Let the guessing begin!

I am 37 weeks, 1 day today...soon we will be holding our precious little bundle. :-) The guesses are starting about gender among family and friends, and I thought it would be fun to do a "baby pool" this time (No, no money or prizes involved ;-) Just the satisfaction of knowing you won if you guess the closest to everything!) ~ So click on the banner below to go to our online baby pool at expectnet.com... If you're not inclined to visit the site, feel free to go ahead and leave your guesses here, or e-mail me.  :-)

Welcome to my blog!

Well, better late than never! I have finally decided to get this up and running ~ a blog for family and friends to keep up with what's going on with me...with the family and with my doula adventures and such.

I'm currently at a loss as to what to blog about today, but I promise I'll try to get something of substance up soon, along with some pictures!   :-)

For now...I am currently 34 weeks, 6 days pregnant...so Baby #5 is due 5 weeks from tomorrow, give or take.  Babies come when babies are ready (when they're allowed to), so we'll see...  We don't know if we are having a boy or girl; we like it that way!  Nothing compares to that surprise "in the moment" and Ken being the one to announce the sex of the baby when he/she comes out!  We are planning another homebirth assisted by a midwife.  The plan is to have another water birth if that's what works for me at the time.  :-)  We're all very excited, and the kids are counting down the days!  I just need to get my nesting done and hopefully have some time to relax before the little one arrives.

More later!
